Usage
A nasal cannula is designed for infants with breathing or respiratory difficulties who cannot breathe on their own. The cannula consists of a flexible tube that is placed under the nose and has two prongs that go slightly inside the nostril to provide the required oxygen and relief.

The Besmed child nasal cannula is made from non-toxic PVC and has soft, curved prongs and soft non-irritating nasal tips. The connector is easy to attach. This child nasal cannula is extremely lightweight, transparent, sterile and easily disposable. The nasal cannula is used for a number of conditions such as asthma
bronchopulmonary dysplasia, or underdeveloped lungs in newborns, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), cystic fibrosis, pneumonia and sleep apnea.
