Product Description
The Medisite PU Island Dressing is a Film Dressing with a sterile, transparent, polyurethane, bacteria-proof and waterproof film, coated with a hypoallergenic adhesive and supplied with a central non-adherent wound pad. The Film Dressing is ideal for light to moderately exuding wounds, clean, closed post-operative wounds and to fix I.V’s and catheters. Made of a special polyurethane film which allows wounds to breathe and water vapour to escape, protecting the skin against maceration. The Bacterial barrier helps protect the site against extrinsic contamination and the waterproof film allows the patient to shower with the dressing in place.
