With no gearing exposed, the 1000 track offers a sleek look and takes up little room along your staircase to ensure others can safely get by. Its anodized aluminum rail offers a stylish and unexposed solution with a hidden gear rack that can safely lift up to 160 Kg. Slimline design is a concept that extends to the Stairlift itself, the stairlift can be folded up meaning minimum storage space is needed when the stairlift is not in use. The addition of a powered footplate makes folding the unit up even easier for users who may have trouble bending. The track comes with two charging points, top and bottom, when not in use the stairlift should be left on one of these points. Operating the Handicare 1000 is very straight forward. The stairlift is protected by a key switch, once switched on the toggle control is simply held in the direction of travel.
