Medipad non-sterile absorbent pads are super absorbent and can deal with many times its own weight in exudate. Ideal for use on heavy exuding wounds, these highly absorbent pads are made up of four layers. The pads also have a waterproof backing which ensures the absorbent fluid remains in the pad and does not leak.The non-sterile absorbent pads can be used as a primary dressing. As a secondary dressing, the pads can be used to provide increased bulk and cushioning, conformability, and improved wound site protection. Ideal for bandaging heads, limbs and difficult-to-dress wounds; i.e. – burns, plastic and orthopaedic wounds. Packed in sealed pouches to ensure a long shelf life
